You see randomly generated ninja around but they are NPCs. Eh that seems a little unorthidox. On Diablo II they had two multiplayer modes. One was just a regular multiplayer and the other one you could use your single player characters on. The reason for this is becuase people would make SUPER hacked characters in single player by using some kind of program where you can edit the character stats and make your own armor and whatnot.
